We start our last day in Amsterdam fetching our rental car (a very fetching Volvo, if you ask me) and begin the 3-hour road trip to Bruges, Belgium.
Bruges is one of the most picturesque cities in Europe. The sixth-largest city in Belgium, Bruges boasts a plethora of medieval architecture, and the entire center city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Due to its canals, it has been referred to as “the Venice of the North” (along with countless other cities, both inside and outside of Belgium). We will be following with a full travel report on Bruges (where we stayed) and Ghent (another city we visited), but until then, we leave you with this Belgium trivia and an Instagram update. Reply to trivia in the comments; we trust you to not use any resources to find the answers.
